BIOSA “TRANQUIL WATERS…” Project |
BACKGROUND |
Austria is one of the richest countries in the world, with some of the largest reserves of fresh water in Europe . This wealth is often recognised more frequently abroad than within our own borders. As a result of its numerous crystal-clear mountain lakes, streams, springs, moors, ponds, meadows and alluvial forests, marshes, glaciers and so on, Austria is in a perfect position to present water in its various forms. |
THE PROJECT |
The “TRANQUIL WATERS…” project, which is characterised by sensitive co-ordination, aims to present the diversity of our wealth of water in a unique fashion. A project focusing on the theme of water in all of its forms, from mountain lakes to the Danube alluvial forests, is a spectacular way to portray the distinctive and unique characteristics of this valuable element. |
|
In order to paint a picture of the various locations, each has been given what we believe is the most suitable name to describe its main characteristics. |
This project represents an ideal opportunity for sponsors, companies and institutions which operate in areas connected with water, a chance to support around 16 project areas, which comprise all forms of water found in Austria , and thereby also improve their own image. The project areas are centrally and exclusively administered. |
As the topic of water is one which polarises opinions, but also affects all of us, a contribution towards the protection of this important resource can have a great impact on corporate image in a range of ways. At the same time, sponsors, with the support and assistance of BIOSA, really can make a simple, yet effective and valuable contribution to the protection and preservation of this natural treasure of ours. |
